praise night et. al.

So, I found out last minute that we had a concert the Friday immediately after spring break (as in last night). The Young Disciples of Christ (I think that’s what the group’s called) were holding an event at the Law School so we were asked to perform 3 of our songs plus two others with the Jubilee Mission. It was pretty cool.

I’ve never really attended a “praise night” before… so this was a first. It was a LOT of singing. And the best part is that the entire event was practically a sing-a-long.

Haha… we had a few awkward moments, like when the projector didn’t work properly and we didn’t know the words to the song we were leading..

Anywhooooo… Utibe thought it would be a great idea to get food together as a choir afterwards, so about 16 of us got together and made a communal table at the Uno’s Chicago Bar & Grill on 6th Ave… it was awesome.

I liked our server. I-L-A-N. What a name.

And Regine’s like the most amazing person ever (the two of us were singing Abba songs, Amazing Grace, Happy Days, and random Diana Ross songs on our way to the restaurant – purrrty sweet)
